AI payments analytics across every payment provider
Plug in your payment providers. Slicker harmonizes acceptance, declines and fees into one view, alerts you when something drops below its normal, and answers your questions in plain English, in the dashboard or from Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot.
The Economist uses Slicker AI Analytics to harmonize payments data across its payment providers.

What Slicker watches for
Provider outage or degradation
A gateway's approval rate collapses against its 60-day baseline.
Drops by payment method and gateway
A payment method approving less than it normally does, overall or on one specific gateway.
Drops by card network and card country
Approvals falling for Visa, Mastercard, Amex or another network, or for cards from one country, where regional issuer or routing problems show up.
Decline-code anomalies
A decline code that was not there in the last 60 days, or a familiar one spiking to several times its usual volume.
3D Secure abandonment spikes
More customers abandoning 3DS challenges on a given device type.
A gateway goes quiet
A gateway that stops sending transactions, so missing data is flagged instead of passing for a calm day.
Compared to its own normal
Each alert compares a segment's 7-day trend to its own 60-day baseline, not to a fixed threshold.
Minimum volumes
Small segments need enough traffic before they can fire, so they don't cry wolf.
Backtested before it is enabled
A proposed alert is backtested on your own history and stays off until someone on your team enables it.
An alert tells you what. The AI analyst tells you why.
Investigate any alert in the Slicker dashboard, or from your own AI assistant.
- 1
The alert flags the drop
A segment falls below its normal, for example card approvals on one gateway.
- 2
The AI analyst investigates
It finds which issuer, gateway, payment method or country is driving the drop, and what the decline codes say.
- 3
You share it or act
Turn the investigation into a report for your team, and take the evidence to your payment provider.
One view across every provider
Every payment provider describes the same payment differently: its own statuses, its own decline codes, its own fee lines. Comparing them usually means a spreadsheet per provider.
Slicker maps one-time and recurring payments from every provider into one data model, so a decline trend, an issuer's acceptance or a fee line reads the same everywhere.

Alert: Authorization rate (Gateway A · Card) dropped 14pp
7-day trend vs 60-day baseline
Why did this fire?
Investigating alert: issuer, card network, country, decline codes
Card approvals on Gateway A fell from 92.6% to 78.3%. Almost all of it comes from one issuer:
Those declines are mostly do not honor, rare for this issuer in the last 60 days. The same cards approve normally on Gateway B, which points at the Gateway A route rather than the cardholders.
